The compound is placed in the transfer pot and the press is clamped. This can be done either by placing the material on the pot or injecting it with the machine. The clamping force is used to transfer the molding material to the cavities with the appropriate shape. Once the cure cycle has been met, the press opens and the parts can be ejected.
